Detachments from the military garrison at Lasadda fought the Abyssinians all night and inflicted losses on them until they retreated precipitately. Several battalions have been despatched to Mojjo from Addis Ababa. Despatches from Paris state that the ambushing of Italians has led the press to ask if Italy has really conquered Abyssinia and to declare that the episode proves that Italian control is precarious.
