HEAD-ON COLLISION
MOTOR-CYCLE AND TRUCK RIDER SEVERELY INJURED [from OCR OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday Serious injuries were suffered by a young man, Mr. Arthur Thomas, a farmhand, of Waotu, this evening, when a motor-cycle he was riding was involved iu a head-on collision with a motor-truck on the Arapuni Road, Putaruru. Tho motor-cyclist, who suffered a compound fracture of the thigh, a broken leg, a broken collarbone and head injuries, was taken to the Waikato Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition last night was serious.
