MORKINSYILLE YALUES KEEN DEMAND FOR BEEF PIGS AT ADVANCED PRICES The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report that at their weekly Morrinsville stock sale held yesterday there was a smaller vardinp of sheep, comprising a truck of fat wethers, for which advanced rates were paid. A few pens of store lambs realised recent quotations. Cow and heifer beef camo forward in larger numbers, with good quality in full supply. Competition for this class was very keen, and values were again firm. Second-quality beef was also penned in large numbers, all classes showing a pronounced improvement, while a heavy entry of boners was in keen demand. A few pens of young cattle were especially sought after at increased rates.

A heavy yarding of dairy heifers came forward. Competition was keen and good quality cattle close to profit sold readily in advance of last week's valties. More backward sorts sold on a par with recent quotations. A good entry of dairy cows on account of various owners created brisk bidding, a good sale resulting with quotations fully equal to late rates. Walker's Rcaulieu pedigree Jersey herd. Mostly females were offered, and bidding was fairly brisk. The top price of the sale was 2fi truineas, paid for a two-year-old bull, Rcaulieu Fawn Bean. For another two-year-old bull, Rcaulieu l.av Duke, 24 3 euin'ens was paid.
