FIRE AT GLEN EDEN SCHOOL An outbreak of fire slightly damaged the roof of the Glen Eden school yesterday. Upper: A chimney choked with straw used by nesting birds. The straw ignited and set fire to the roof. Lower: Schoolboys who assisted in the bucket brigade and helped to check the flames until the arrival of a fire engine.
