Miriam Hopkin's Son
Miss Miriam Hopkins, the United States film star, who is making a picture in England, refused to allow her four-year-old son to be photographed when she met him at Plymouth recently. "I am not afraid of kidnappers," she said, "but I do not wish to exploit my family for publicity purposes. I have to put up with all sorts of things for publicity myself, but I do not see why my son Michael should be brought into it. He has come over because I want him to be with me."
