CATHOLIC DANCE
PAPAKURA FUNCTION The Regent Theatre, Papakura, presented a gay scene on Thursday evening when the annual dance in aid of tho general funds of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Papakura, was hold. There was a very largo attendance from all tho surrounding districts and Auckland. The hall was artistically decorated with foliage and tlie supper tables with Iceland poppies. Father Lock wood and his Committee were responsible for the success of the dance, financial and otherwise. Among the ladies present were:— Mesdames J. Wishart, T. Holland, J. Fitzgerald, H.
