WOMAN FINED £4 On charges of selling milk without the required amount of solids and with I'2 per cent of added water, Mrs. Hannah Gibson (Mr. Sullivan) appeared in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. ' ft was stated that the samples wore taken when the milk was being delivered by defendant's husband." Mr. Sullivan said defendant did not water the milk. Unfortunately, there had been some trouble in the district. Her cows had been let out on the road and her dog bad been poisoned. It was submitted that someone had entered an unlocked shed and tampered with tlx* milk. A fine of £1 was imposed on the first charge and one of £3 on the second.
