, INFANT'S TRAGIC FATE [by TELEGRAPH Pit ESS associationl DUNEDIN, Bund»y : An infant aged one year and nins months didd on Saturday afternoon through being choked by a piece of apple lodging in its throat. The child, William Andrew Timms, had just been bathed by his mother and she gave him an apple to eat. When the child showed signs of distress the parents endeavoured without success to remove tha obstruction and then hurried to Dr* Stuart Moore for assistance. When they arrived the child was dead.
