LONE ADVENTURER

CRUISE TO NEW ZEALAND POLISH ENGINEER'S • PLANS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday The correspondent of the Press Association at Rarotonga states that the yacht Farys arrived there on April 3. The yacht is sailed by Mr. E. J. Weber, a Polish electrical engineer, who is making a leisurely cruise from Tahiti to New Zealand. The Farys is 21ft. long, with a displacement of two and a-half tons. The only person aboard is Mr. Weber, who learned navigation at a French school at Tahiti. A call was made at the island of Bora Bora en route to Rarotonga, where Mr. Weber will stay for a month. He intends to sail to Samoa and Fiji, and thence to New Zealand. He expects to arrive at Auckland in October or November.
