PIGEON FLYING
NORTHERN CLUB'S RACE A race for young birds, hold under fine conditions by the Northern Racing Pigeon Club from Paeknkariki to Auckland, an airline distance of 286 miles, was won by Mr. J. Shiela' Logan Conquest. As Mr. Shiels had been the holder of the championship cup for the two previous seasons, Logan Conquest's victory gave him outright possession of tho trophy.
