Met arlane (Ngaruawahia) defeated C. H. Cooper and E. J. Easter (Cambridge) by 19 points to 10. / CLAUDELANDS TOURNEY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Sunday A full-rink tournament was played on the Claudelands Club's green yesterday afternoon to mark the close of the season. Sixteen rinks competed. J. Patereon. and A. C. Hunter won the skips' and seconds' trophies respectively. There was a tie between T. B. Lendrum and E. H. Hammond and B. Marshall and R. Peters for the thirds' and leads' 'rophies. The playoff resulted in another tie. and an extra head was played. This was won by Lendrum and Hammond. BUCKLAND TOURNAMENT [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Saturday The finals of the pairs and full-rink tournaments held by the Buckland Bowling Club during F.nstcr were decided to-day. The full-rink competition wan won by Bullock, i 5. Deed, Jnmicson, Steele (Buckland), who defeated A. R. Wright, Wiggins, Hewitt, Danes (Buckland), by 27 points to 11. The final of the pairs resulted in a win for R. and E. Wright (Buckland), 23, who defeated Bowran and Penman (Huntly), 21. At the conclusion of play the club president, Mr. J. Danes, presented th« trophies.
