LATE SIR JAMES MILLS
FUNERAL IN ENGLAND [from our own correspondent] By Air Mail LONDON, Feb. 1 While the funeral of the late Sir James Mills was taking place at Putney Vale, a memorial service was held at the Church of St. Andrew IJndershaft. This ancient church, at the corner of St. Mary Axo and Leadenhall Street, is in the very centre of the district where all the shipping offices are situated. Those who attended the service were representative of the shipping firms, of the Empire. In addition, there were a number of private friends. It was a simple service conducted by the Rev. E. G. Jay, and there was no address. The hymns, " 0 God of Bethel" and "Abide With Me," and the Twentythird Psalm sung, a full choir leading. At the end the choir sang "0 Best in the Lord," while tKe congregation remained kneeling.
