OSTEND SOCIAL CLUB
i The Ostend Ladies' Social Club opened its new year's season on Thursday afternoon in tho Ostend Public Hall. Tho programme comprised musio&l items, songs and dancing, and afternoon tea was served. Tho club was formed in 1934, and from that time Has hold many • successful social functions, its main activities being tho affordihg of assistance to necessitous causes. The following committee has appointed:—Mrs. E. Griffiths, JJrs. J. Mrs. C. Rugg, Mrs. W. Russell and Mrs. A. R. Smith.
