Saturday After pleading guilty at the Magistrate's Court to a charge of using her residence at 235 Coutts Street, Kilbirnie, as a common gaming house, .Janet Shore, aged 36, was fined £ls and costs. Detective-Sergeant Revell stated that on investigation it had been found that Mrs. Shoro had taken a large number of bets over the Christmas period, the amounts totalling about £3O. She said she wanted to supplement her husband's rather meagre income, and she had been acting 011 a commission basis as an agent for a bookmaker.
