150fH ANNIVERSARY PLANS FOR CELEBRATION SYDNEY. Jan. 17 The New South Wales Cabinet warmly approves of the proposal that it should take charge of the arrangements to ensure that the celebration of the 150 th anniversary of the State in 1938 shall be on a scale worthy of the occasion. Also it approves the principle that the State should make a direct contribution toward the cost of the celebrations.
