SYDNEY. Jan. 17 * Mr ' Li ncoln Ellsworth and Mr. Hollick Kenyon are alive and well at Little America." This was the heart-quickening message flashed from the wireless of the ship Discovery 11. to the representative of the North American Newspaper Alliance on board the Wyatt Earp to-day, says a cablegram from New York. The radio message added that the commander of the Discovery was doing all possible to expedite the embarkation of Messrs. Ellsworth and Kenyon on his ship. The Commonwealth Minister of Defence, Mr. R. A. Parkhill, previously had received a message from the Discovery 11., which the Commonwealth Government despatched to the Antarctic to aid in the search for Messrs. Ellsworth and Kenyon, stating that a man was sighted from one of the vessel s aeroplanes in which a reconnaissance flight was made from the Bay of Whales. Attempts were to be made to embark the man who was sighted. Mr. Ellsworth s machine also was seen at Little America, the message added. The Discovery 11. arrived at the Bay of Whales on Wednesday.
