MENTAL HOSPITAL
PATIENTS ENTERTAINED
A concert and, social evening organised by Neville Carlsen's Revue Company was held in the social hall of the Auckland Mental Hospital on Thursday evening. Concept items were interspersed with > dancing, the Carlton Cabaret Dance Band, under the conductorship of Mr. Arthur Larkins, providing excellent dance music. A large decorated tin of chocolates and a parcel of tobacco and cigarettes were awarded the patients who won the Monte Carlo waltz. The following contributed to the concert programme: —Misses Eunice Wright, Dorothy Dolan, Florreen Reed, Mavis Reilley, Betty Tilney, 'Joan Power, Messrs. Jack Counihan, Arthur Larkins, Edgar Bendall, Sel Noton, Dick Saxon, Neville Carlsen and Master Jack Carlsen. Miss Power was the accompanist.
