DOMINIONS' ATTITUDE ALLEGATION OF HOSTILITY LONDON. -Tan. 1C Discussing the extent of "Australian and New Zealand hostility to Imperial Airways," the journal Aeroplane says the anti-Imperial Airways faction fears that the use of flying-boats 011 the England to Australia route will exclude Australians and New Zealanders from employment on the major overseas routes, also that British personnel will bo trained to operate flying-boats at the Australian end.
The journal adds that if the Australian end is to run smoothly, Imperial Airways must make an effort to win over the opposition and show it is not out of touch with their needs. Commenting on the article, an Imperial Airways official states that it is intended to continue to utilise the services' of Australians, who are best at the Australian end on account of their knowledge of the country and Hying conditions.
