IRAK AND IRAN
THE FRONTIER DISPUTE SETTLEMENT PROSPECT (Received January 15, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Jan. 14 A message from Geneva states that the Government of Irak has asked tho Secretary-General of the League of Nations, M. Avenol, to remove the frontier dispute between Irak and Iran (Persia) from the agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the Council; and to extend the period for a possible friendly settlement of the dispute through the conversations which are still proceeding between the two parties at Bagdad.
