NEEDLE IN BOY'S FOOT

[from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday While playing at his home on Tuesday, Douglas Nicholls, aged 11 years, son of Mr. Charles Nicholls, of Monovale, Cambridge, ran a darning needle some distance into his foot. It was found necessary to remove the hoy to the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, where an X-ray photograph was taken preparatory to an operation being performed to remove the needle. He was able to proceed to his home to-day.
