WATERSIDERS' PICNIC
GATHERINGAT MOTUIHI . PROGRAMME of sports The annual picnio of the Auckland Wateraide "Workers' Union wag held at Motuihi yesterday, when about 1200 adults and children' made the trip on the Northern Company's excursion steamer Rangitoto. The warm sun made conditions very pleasant for swimming and sunbathing, -while a programme of sports and competition# provided a wide variety of entertainment. During the day large quantities of ice-cream, fruit and sweets were distributed among 'the children.
