'THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE INDUSTRIALS ADVANCE The turnover was well maintained 'on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, with dealing spread over a •wider area. Loan and agency shares were roJoased at prices unchanged on last year. Wilsons Cement were active in trading at 45s Gd, which is 10d above the closing price in December. Wellington Gas also improved in the first business this year. On the other hand, Morris Hedstrom opened the year with a sale 3d cheaper at 24s Pd and Wool- • worths (.Sidney) second preference were 2s Sd lower, at 25s 3d. Farmers' Trading continued to advance and three parcels changed hands 2d dearer at gs. Kauri, Timbers were 7d higher in a sale at 23s 4d and Electrolytic Zincs .gained 6d in business at 35s 6d.
