CRICKET ON SUNDAYS [TWO SERVICES BEFORE PLAY [from our. own correspondent! SYDNEY. Oct. ID Services at Dorrigo at 7 a.m., at Tyringham at 9 a.m., then a 30-mile drive for a game of cricket at Megan—this is the routine which will be followed on occasions this summer by Father Bradley. n North Coast cricketer.

Father Bradley, who will play for Dorrigo Club this season, asked a crowded congregation at the l{oman Cat ho''" Church last Sunday to attend mass at 7 a.m. on Sundays to allow those who wished to play cricket an opportunity to attend church before engaging in their sport. Ho prefers Saturday play, but as most of the district cricketers work at tho timber mills until noon on Saturday, they do not feel inclined to play that day. The result is that seven out of nine teams play on Sunday. Tho priest says ho knows tho temperament of the average young Australian —if church interferes with tbeir sport they let 'church no. Ho has appealed to tho young men to devote a littlo time on Sunday to spiritual affairs. ]f they do this, he says, they will find their, physical activities more enjoyable. Father, Bradley set a good example to his team mates in the first match this season played last week. He topped the score with 108 not out.
