DANCING
A .special old-time haliowe'en dance will he held at the Pirate Shipjx?, Millord Beach, to-night. In addition to balloons, streamers and Monte Carlos, there will he many other novelty items, while the latest (lance tunes will he rendered by the ever-popular Pirate Shippe Band Kvening dress is optional. ,A .special jazz night will lie held on Monday night. Arrangements have been made for the free transport of patrons from Auckland and special concessions will be made for motorists usiim the vehicular ferry. The popular American night club entertainer Nellie Small will be heard again at the Civic Cabaret to-night. An attractive supper will be served and music will be played by the Civic Band, under the direction of Mr. Alfred llealey, and by Mr. Dennis Pulmistra at the grand organ. Former patrons of Dixieland Cabaret will be delighted to hear that the management of the Peter Pan Cabaret has secured the services of the celebrated Internationals (who provided music at Dixieland for so many years) Bookings are stated to he exceptionally heavy for to-night and Monday night
