WAIKAREMOANA SCHEME SHIPMENTS OF CEMENT [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT J mSBORNE. Friday Evidence of activity at Waikaremoana in connection with .the hydro-electric works is seen in the regular arrival at Waikokopu of considerable quantities of cement for the sinking of concrete shafts at the lake edge. The cement has not been obtained in one large shipment, but for some time now has been landed almost every week at Waikokopu in quantities from 100 to 200 tons. Already several hundred tons have been sent to the lake.
