CONCERT AT FIRTH HOME

Members of Neville Carlsen's Revue Company visited the Evelyn Firth Home last evening and presented a bright and varied programme. The troupe's orchestra, under the conductorship of Miss Joan Power, rendered popular numbers, while the string band, led by Mr. Ernest Parkinson, played island melodies. The community singing, with Mr. Neville Carlsen leading, embraced all the old-time "Digger" songs. Solo items were contributed by. the following—Misses Joy Young, Betty Lelean, Joyce Cain, Gloria Lelean, Joan Power, Messrs. Ernest Parkinson, Scott Bond, Bruce Pollock, Laurio Cooke, H. Walters, T, King, Ken. Skinner, Ted Stack, T, H. Burnitt, Albert Parkinson, Neville Carlsen and Master Jack Carlsen.
