ASSOCIATION NEWS

GIRL CITIZEN CONFERENCE Girls from all over the Dominion are gathered at Blockhouse Bay, where the conference of the Girl Citizen movement in New Zealand is now in progress. Besides the consideration of the future policy and development of the movement, the girls have before them a full and educational range of activities. Bible study occupies an important place, and, in addition, the girls are studying dramatics and such handicrafts as pottery and poster-work, under the direction of Miss Meg Saunders and Miss Olive Jones who has been studying handicrafts abroad. The girls find ample time for tennis, bathing, picnics and tramps to the various points of interest.
