An improved financial ppsition and an association membership of 753 were shown in the report adopted at the 33rd annual meeting of the Auckland Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association last night. This is an increase in membership of 13, compared with the previous year. It was reported that the library had been kept up-to-date and that 111 new books had been procured during the year. A total of £515 had been donated to the Blind Soldiers' and Sailors' Fund, while blind soldiers, or their dependants, bad been assisted to the extent of £397.
Feeling reference to the death of Mr. 11. S. Robertson, who was a member of the committee, was made by the president, Mr. W. H. Prentis. A motion of sympathy with the relatives was passed in silence. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr. C. J. W. Taylor; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. Dickson, A. 11. Flatt, S. C. Holdswortli and W. M. Ingram; honorary treasurer, Mr. T. Farrell; auditor, Air. G. Fleming; committee, Messrs. C. C. Bach, J. Ballantyne, 11. A. Burlinson, H. Hunt, T. C. Peek, J. J. Smyth, H. G. Watts, W. Wiseman and. S. A. Whyte (travellers), and Messrs. I. Brown, J. Browning, H. Bull, A. M. Doull, G. Forsythe, H. P. Ibbertson, P. C. Muir, and E. G. Stichbury (warehousemen).
