NEW AEROPLANE SERVICE EIGHT-SEATERS TO BE USED SEMI-MONTHLY FLIGHTS By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received January 11, 7.35 p.m.) TOKIO, Jan. 11 The communications section of the Ministry of Air announces that preparations are practically complete for an aeroplane service from Japan to the mandated islands in the Pacific.

It is expected to start this summer with six Japanese-built eight-seaters semi-monthly from Tokio to Hachijojima, Chichijima, Saipan, Yap and Parao in 28 hours. The first trips will be devoted to mails and parcels post. Later, when the service is running well, passengers will bo taken.
