TRANSPORT OF GOODS
AUTHORITY'S DECISION CONCERN VOICED AT THAMES
[by telegraph—OWN correspondent! THAMES, Friday
The No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority's decision regarding the carriage of goods by road is viewed with concern at Thames, not only by the motor operators themselves, but by the business community that has so largely patronised them. The view has been expressed that the decision is an attempt to drive the goods transport back to the railways.
