FISHING FOR TROUT

ANGLERS AT LAKE TAUPO

IMPROVEMENT IN WEATHER

[by telegraph OWN correspondent] TAUPO, Friday

A strong south-westerly wind in the past two days-prevented fishing in the lake, with the exception of a few sheltered bays, but the weather has cleared and conditions to-day are ideal. A large number of parties are out in launches and nearly a dozen Tods are fishing the mouth of the Waitahanui Stream. •

Results from the Waikato River, in the vicinity of the Huka Falls, continue to be good and there are several camps in this vicinity.
