"A SUGGESTED IMPROVEMENT"

Sir, —1 heartily agree with "Health's" letter in your issue of Saturday, regarding his suggested development of the area known as Cox's Creek. J drove round there a few days prior to the date of "Health's" letter and had similar thoughts as to its possibilities. If our Harbour Board could co-operate with the City Council and reclaim 'the mangrove flat and imprison the water by some kind of flood gate or lock there could he made one of Auckland's finest parks and swimming places. What area, as "Health" asks, is there at present so unsightly and with the possibilities of beautifying such as Cox's Creek possesses? G. • Ashley.
