BY-ELECTION NEXT MONTH A by-election to fill tho vacancy on tho Auckland Electric-Power Board, caused by the deatli on Monday of Mr. John RowCj will bo held on February 4. Nominations of candidates will close on January 23 before noon. The last election of Power Board members took place in April last year, and the candidate returned at the extraordinary election next month will hold office with the other members of tho board until April, 1938. The poll will be conducted throughout the board's district and only ratepayers in their own right will be entitled to rote.
