SANDERS CUP CONTEST

BETTY NOW AVAILABLE

[by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DTJNEDIN, Thursday

The owner of the 14-footer Betty has now agreed to the conditions required by the Otago Yacht and Motor-Boat Assocration, and she has been accepted to represent Otago in the Sanders Cup contest at Stewart Island on January 24. The acceptance is provisional on other associations agreeing to the substitution of Betty for Val, which had been selected when Betty and Eileen withdrew from the trials in December.
