SWIMMING
AUCKLAND TEAM INCREASED Two winners of titles at the Auckland swimming championship carnival on Tuesday evening, K. Buchanan. 100 yds nnd 220 yds junior boy free-style champion, and T. Jpnes, 75yds junior breaststroke champion, have been included in the team to represent Auckland at the New Zealand meeting in Timaru. Their expense will be defrayed by the Waitemata Club, of which they are members. H. Goldsmith will also be sent south by the Ponsonby Club to compete in the 100 yds and 220 yds boys' intermediate championships. The strength of the team is now nine.
