HOURS OF LABOUR
DISCUSSION IN LONDON LONDON. Jan. 7 The Minister of Labour. Mr. Oliver Stanley, is arranging to meet the General Council of the Trades Union Concress and representatives of the employers regarding a shorter working week, also to discuss overtime and the sharing of existing work. Although the trades unions are anxious for a reduction in hours, they are not prepared to agree to a reduction in wages.
