RESIDENTS OF THE SAAR

ALL ON DUTY ON SUNDAY

SAARBRUCKEN. Jan. 7

The first votes in the plebiscite to determine the future administration of the Saar were cast to-day, when 2000 persons, who will be on duty on Sunday (the day of the poll) were allowed to record their votes.

Those -who voted to-day included prison warders, hospital attendants, drivers and conductors of buses and tramcars, and burgomasters of towns and villages.
