BOWLING TOURNEY

DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS

SINGLES NEXT MONDAY

PRESENT TITLE-HOLDERS

Record entries have been received for the New Zealand bowling tournament, which will bo commenced in Auckland next Monday. Twenty greens will be used, with headquarters at Carlton.

The singles championship will be played on Monday and Tuesday, the pairs on Wednesday and Thursday, and the rinks next Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. Post-section play will be decided on. January 16, 17 and 38. Several social functions have been arranged for visiting bowlers.

Present title-holders are as follows :

Singles.—W. Carswell, Taieri Club (also champion in 1924 Now Zealand tourney at Christchurch).

Pairs.—J. McPherson and J. Veitch (West Harbour Club). Rinks. —G. Dickson, F. Redpath, H. F. Gibson and H. Wilson (Linwood Club).
