COLLISION ON THAMES

ZEALANDIC AND TANKER MOTOR-SHIP DAMAGED LONDON, Jan. 2 The master of the motor-ship Zealandic reported by wireless that she had collided with the Norwegian tanker Mirlo on the Thames. Her upper work was damaged but she was not making water.

The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's motor-ship Zealandic has been in the New Zealand and Australian produce trade with Britain. Her 1 t visit to Auckland was from June 29 to July 4, 1934, when she loaded for London. She left Albany, Western Australia, on December 4 for London. The Mirlo (7455 tons gross) was built in 1922 by Armstrong, Whitworth, Limited, and is owned by the Tankfart Line. Norway.
