HOLIDAY IN WAIKATO [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday An increase in railway travel in the Waikato during the holiday is shown in the returns from the Hamilton and Frankton Junction railway stations for the past fortnight. At Ham»" ton, between December 19 and January 2, 8262 tickets were issued, compared with 238$ in the previous Christmas and New Year season. The revenue was £1334, compared with £1179, 8" incroase of £155. Between December 20 and January 2 at Frankton tion, the totals were 5883 and compared with 4776 and £1370.
