RETURNS AT WHANGAREI ~ FEWER DEATHS IN YEAR [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Thureday * Following are the vital statistics for "Whangarei for the year ended December 31, 1934, the previous year'a figures being in parentheses:—Births, 317 (297); deaths, 117 .(120); marriages, 120 (114). Of the marriages, 37 were performed by the registrar, compared with 35 in 1933.
