ENGLISH TENNIS PLAYERS
ARRIVAL AT ROTORUA EXHIBITION GAMES TO-DAY [by tblegraph—owx correspondent] EOTORUA, Tuesday The English tennis players arrived from Auckland by car to-day. The party, which is staying at the Grand Hotel, comprises Mr. G. P. Hughes, manager and captain, Miss N. M. Lyle, Miss E. M. Dearman, Miss D. Round and Mr. F. Perry. The visitors were very tired after their long journey and strenuous play during their stay in Auckland, and the visit to Whakarewarewa which was planned for this afternoon was postponed to allow the visitors to have the afternoon free. This evening they were entertained by a Maori concert party at the Pohutu tea kiosk. To-morrow morning the visitors will be shown round Whakarewarewa, and in the afternoon will play exhibition matches on the court that has been specially prepared for the occasion in the Government grounds.
