DUNEDIN CLUB
A "mystery night" was the intriguing title given to the final club gathering for this year of the Duncdin Club. Acting as host and hostess were Mr. and Mrs. J. Oliver, the latter wearing a frock of black ring velvet. As they, too, were part of the mystery their identity was not disclosed until later on in the evening's proceedings. The card room and dance hall had been very decoratively arranged with bowls of arum lilies and foliage, balloons and coloured streamers adding a brighter note to the scene. Competitions and Hag bridge, as well as dancing, provided very enjoyable entertainment. The winners in the bridge were Mrs. McNiclde, M ; ,ss Long and Mr. Ogg. Tire wives of members of the committee who were present included: —Mrs. W. H. Faulkner, Mrs. J. A. Gow, Mrs. A. Smith, Mrs. IS. A. Allan, Mrs. Long, Mrs. L. Piper, Mrs. Lindsay Anderson. There were also present: —Mrs. McGuire, Mrs. Wickham, Mrs. S. J. Davis, Mrs. It. A. Cornish, Mrs. N. Hamilton, Mrs. L. J. Warren, Mrs. N. S. Fraser, Mrs. H. F. Wright, Mrs. H. Sneddon, Mrs. 11. B. Miller, Mrs. E. Eccles, Mrs. Burton, Mrs. H. Tregear, Mrs. Hough, Mrs. Jamieson, Mrs. Oliver, Mrs. G. Campbell, Miss Joy Oliver, Miss D. Prince, Miss C. Finding, Miss Shirrilfs, Miss Siedeberg, Miss N. Vaughan, Miss Marie Long, Miss Walton, Miss M. Oram, Miss Brasier, Miss R. Burrett, Mirk Anderton, Miss McAneny.<
