SASHES FOR SHEEP

Tbe Au stralinn Society of Breeders of British Sheep is offering very handsome wool sashes for the champion rams and ewes for all British breeds at agricultural shows that confine their entries to registered sheep. The society has been endeavouring to obtain the co-operation of all agricultural societies in its effcrts to eliminate unregistered sheep, and has obtained promises from quite a number of important shows that they would assist in this respect. The main purpose of agricultural societies is, after all, the improvement of our stock, and this can only be brought about by insisting on registration.
