FORMER JUDGE'S DEATH

HON. W. C. MacGREGOK EFFECT OF WIFE'S ILLNESS TWO SEVERE HEART ATTACKS [from our own correspondent] LONDON, August 31 Th® Hon. W. C. MacGregor, formerly a Judge of the Now Zealand Supreme Court, and Mrs. MacGregor, arrived in England in the middle 1 of May. They stayed for some weeks with tlieir son, tho Rev. D. B. MacGregor, at St. Andrew's House, Loigliton Buzzard, and then went to London for a fortnight, where Mrs. MacGregor underwent some treatment. Toward tho end of June they settled at tho Bridge Hotel, Bedford, whero they were about halfway between Leighton Buzzard and Cambridge, whero their daughter, Mrs. C. E. Carrington, lives. At the end of July Mrs. MacGregor suddenly became very ill, and died after a very short illness on August 12. She was spared much suffering, and for tho last few days was quite unconscious. Tho funeral was at Glolders Green crematorium on August 15. Tho strain of his wifo's illness affected Mr. MacGrOgor's health, and on August 5 lie had a very severe heart attack. He was taken to Kimbolton House, the nursing home in which his wife was lying ill, where he died very suddenly as tho result of another attack, on August 25. Ho was cremated at Golders Green on August 28.
