SALE AT FEILDING SHARP RISE FOR BEEF [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] FEILDING, Friday There was a sharp rise in prices for fat cattle at the Feilding stock sale today. The price for female beef reached 30s per 1001b. No ox beef was offered. Fat sheep dropped 2s a head. There was a good demand for store sheep, especially hoggets. heifers met with a fairly good sale. TE AWAMUTU QUOTATIONS The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports having held its Te Awamutu stock sale on Thursday, when a good yarding of sheep was penned. Prices for fat ewee wore slightly easier, and for fat wethers and hoggets remained firm. Fat cattle were penned in heavy numbers, many good quality beasts being offered. All classes of fats showed a decided increase, while there was no alteration in the price of store cows. Store steers met with keen competition, and a total clearance was effected. A heavy yarding of pigs of all classes came forward. Baconer* and porkers met with fair competition from a medium bench of buyers. A full yarding of store and weaner pigs met with brisk bidding, and sold well up to lata quotations. PEDIGREE BULLS SALE AT CLAUDELANDS GOOD PRICES REALISED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday The Waikato Combined Breeders and Auctioneers' Association's 19th annual bull sale, which commenced on Tuesday, was concluded at Claudelands today. About 400 bulls were sold altogether, and the average price received was very satisfactory. The offering today comprised yearling and two-year-old Jerseys and animals with a good butter-fat backing were keenly sought after. "f The best price to-day was 3ogns., paid hv Mr. J. Gaddes, Morrinsville, for a two-vear-old, Ebors Egyptian, offered on account of Mr. R. jT Wilson, Putaruru. The yearling, Princeps of Bulls, offered on account of Dr. F. J. Watson, Bulls, was purchased by Mr. F. C. Richmond, Hinuera, for 26gns. Mr. G. A. Douglas, Kaipaki, paid 25gns. for Pat of Bulls, also offered on account of Dr. Watson.

'f Wedding. Kaipara Flats, and purchased by Mr. W. Gubb. Port Albert. A yearling bull. Tauwhare Kipling, sold on behalf of and bred by Messrs. C. (r. and F. C, Aicken, Hdensvllle, realised 18 guineas, being purchased by Mr. P. Treadwell, Port Albert. Mr. II A. Becroft's yearling bull Kauri Rule, was sold to Mr, E. B. "Wenzlick. Matakana, for 19 guineas.
