STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AMATEUR SEMI-FINALS ADELAIDE, August 17 In the semi-finals of the South Australian amateur golf championship Acklancl-Norman defeated R. Crook, 2 up, and W. Rymill defeated H. Wright, 8 and 7.
Crook is aged 18. He took AcklandNorman (the title-holder) to the 36th hole after the latter was dormie three.
