THRILLING STORY
EXCITING RAILWAY MYSTERY It would appear that authors and publishers, as well as motion picture producers, think in cycles. Ihe theme for mystery novels at present seems to be centred 011 railways. Perhaps it is on account of the amount of reading of this typo that is indulged in 011 railway travels. The latest addition is "Bombay Mail," a thrilling choice for June of -the Crime Club. The author has first-hand knowledge of the setting in which his plot unfolds, and is, accordingly, able to catch the colour of the East, although his story is a lastmoving mystery. The characters appear more natural than tho average, suggesting that Mr. Blochman called upon actual experiences in his chequered career. One can readily understand that this story has been successfully adapted for the screen. "Bombay Mail," by Laurence G. Blochman. (Crimo Club, Collins.)
