NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Two stories for cat lovers were reported in Britain lately. Poky was a cat owned by Mrs. Sayles, of Townhill, Swansea. Mrs. Sayles and her family moved to Oxford. They took Poky and another cat in a box, covered by a sack and surrounded by furniture. At Gloucester Poky escaped, walked the hundred miles to Swansea, and collapsed on the doorstep of her old home. She slept for two days and then seemed quite content with the new tenants. Bobbie, aged three, lived at Saughall Massey, Cheshire. His owners went on holiday, taking Bobbie to the house of a relative, six miles away. Ho was in a closed basket and went by car. On tho first day in his temporary homo lie disappeared. His owners gave him up for lost, when he arrived home, having travelled through busy roads and across country.
