TRUNK MYSTERY
ACCUSED BEFORE COURT EVIDENCE OF ANALYST LONDON, August 7 Toni Mancini, who has been charged with murder arising out of the discovery of the remains of a woman s body in a trunk at Brighton, was brought before the Court to-day under the name of Jack Notyre. A detective produced various articles of male attire which, according to Dr. G. Roche Lynch, Home Office analyst, bore human bloodstains.
Dr. Lynch stated that a post-mortem on Violette Kaye, 42, a toe dancer, whose remains had been identified as those found in the trunk, showed an overdose of drug. He could not state whether the dose had been fatal. Accused was remanded.
